Zelda Stories or 'Tails of the Dog' is a collection of 44 light-hearted short stories about the adventures of a small black dog called Zelda who always had good intentions, some of which did not always work out.
Zelda was a source of pleasure and fun in the many years that the author, Cynthia his wife, and his childen Susan and David were privileged for her to share their home, and family life.
In the 44 stories Zelda has many exciting adventures including causing chaos in obedience classes, getting stuck in railings, meeting burglars and recovering stolen jewelry, rescuing the children from a cave, finding an unexploded bomb and getting her picture in the papers, even getting hypnotised!.
In fact it seems that Zelda understood and anticipated almost everything, and just lacked a speaking voice (like the dog on the TV that could say “sausages”)!

Louis had many a chuckle when recalling the incidents in the stories and sincerely hopes, dear parents and children, that you will have lots of good laughs too.
