David is also a signalman for Railtrack and he uses every opportunity available to record the trains which pass his signalbox at Colthrop on the Berks & Hants line. However, David’s photographs are not just confined to the vicinity of Reading and Newbury, his travels in the quest for railway photographs have taking him to most parts of the United and Kingdom, as well as the Continent.
This is one man’s view of the British and Continental railway network through the lens of a camera over the forty years since he took his first photograph, right up to the present day. ‘40 Years of Railway Photography’ is printed on high quality art paper and contains 130 photographs of diverse railway-related subjects.
